1. Who we are

Quick Lead ("we", "us", "our") is a job and booking management tool for tradespeople and salons, operated in England & Wales. Our contact address is trial@quicklead.app.

2. What data we collect and why

Quick Lead is a device-first application. The vast majority of your data (jobs, invoices, contacts, signatures) is stored locally on your own device using browser localStorage. We do not operate a central database of your job records.

When you sign up or use the app we may process:

• Google account information — your name and email address, via Google OAuth. We never see your Google password.
• Gmail data — with your explicit permission, we read job emails from your inbox to extract booking details. We do not store or transmit your emails to our servers.
• Google Calendar access — to create and update job appointments on your behalf. Scope used: calendar.events.
• Contact email address — provided when you sign up, used only to send you account information and, with your consent, product updates.

3. Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)

• Contract — processing your account details to provide the service.
• Legitimate interests — product improvement, fraud prevention and security.
• Consent — marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time).

4. Third-party services

The app integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy:

• Google (OAuth, Gmail, Calendar) — Google Privacy Policy
• VoodooSMS — used to send SMS notifications to your customers on your behalf. Only the phone number and message content you provide are sent. VoodooSMS Privacy Policy
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — when the app reads your job emails, the email content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to extract job details such as dates, times, and customer information. This data is used solely to populate your job cards and is not stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of the request. Anthropic Privacy Policy

5. Cookies

This marketing website (quicklead.app) does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. We use a single localStorage key to remember your cookie notice preference.

The Quick Lead app (app.quicklead.app) uses essential session cookies to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

5a. Google User Data Disclosure

Quick Lead's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, Quick Lead:

• Uses Google user data only to provide and improve the features of the app
• Does not use Google user data for advertising or to create advertising profiles
• Does not sell Google user data to third parties
• Does not transfer Google user data to third parties except where necessary to operate the app (e.g. email content sent to Anthropic's Claude API for job parsing)
• Does not allow humans to read Google user data except where required for security or where you have given explicit consent

Google OAuth scopes requested:

• gmail.readonly — to read job inquiry emails from your inbox
• gmail.send — to send job confirmation and invoice emails on your behalf
• calendar.events — to create and update job appointments in your Google Calendar

6. Data retention

Your job data stored in localStorage remains on your device until you clear it. Booking requests submitted by your clients are stored on our servers (Cloudflare) for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted. Push notification tokens and SMS credentials are stored for up to 2 years or until removed by you. If you delete your account, we will remove any server-side records within 30 days.

7. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to: access, rectify or erase your personal data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email trial@quicklead.app.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all connections. Google OAuth is used for authentication — we never handle or store your Google password. Your data is processed on your own device wherever possible.

9. Children

Quick Lead is intended for use by adults (18+) running a business or trade. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last changed. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
